This world has been becoming a place for depression, eliminating happiness; we need to be aware of Mental Health, and to ensure that it is reasonable to be in depression. Awareness about mental health is the way to destigmatize mental illness. To be mentally aware, one should always do productive daily activities like playing, writing, speaking, and maintaining a fulfilling relationship with others. Mental health checkup is a good thing. It is challenging for the human being. It is very tough to avoid the feeling of stress. It is normal to worry about the various types of pressure.

Competition is always present in every sector of life from school level to business level and one has to perform at a satisfactory level of emotional and behavioral adjustment ability to enjoy life and to create a balance between life activities and efforts to achieve psychological resilience according to WHO (World Health Organization), Mental health awareness includes subjective well-being and perceived self- efficiency. Social workers provide mental awareness in developed countries.

Mental illness can occur when the brain (or part of the brain) is not serving properly or is operating incorrectly. When the brain is not working correctly, one or more of its 6 functions (Thinking, Perception, Emotion, Signaling, Behavior, and Physical) will be disordered. Signs can include analyzing difficulties or concentration problems. Extreme emotional highs and lows, and difficulty in relaxing. When these symptoms significantly disturb a person’s life, we say that the person has a mental sickness or a mental disorder. Mental disability results in the irregular functioning of the brain. In other words, we can say brain disorder. Mental illness is due to stress and tension. It is not the result of individual vulnerability or incompetent behavior or an inferior personality or poverty. In very few cases, it is provoked by nutritional factors. It starts from babyhood to puberty.

Some of these include Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), and Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). However, some illnesses begin during adolescence. The illnesses that most often begin during adolescence include Major Depression (MD), Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder (BD), Panic disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Eating Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and Addictions.

The main symptoms of depression are loss of interest in things you liked, feeling of guilt and worthlessness, overeating or appetite loss, trouble concentrating, persistent sad or “empty” feelings and suicidal thoughts. Somebody who has mental sickness often lives a sure and vibrant life, by taking or receiving the therapy of mental disorder.
 

In households where domestic violence, alcohol, or drug dependency due to that their children suffer mental illness. Each year approximately 44 million adults will experience mental health condition. Less than half will seek treatment due to stigma and discrimination. 1 in 4 people worldwide will experience a mental health problem in any given year.

It is inherently harmful to talk about chronic mental illness. It is impossible to raise awareness in normalizing something without talking about. Mental health is just as important as physical health. Don’t be afraid to talk about what you are going through. Let us be aware of our physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional health. There’s no reason to be ashamed. You are not alone. Share your story and raise awareness.
